Previously, we explained why we are building Nashpoint – to create the credibly neutral infrastructure for onchain asset management to move their fund operations onchain. We also gave an outline of our 6 month roadmap, to explain some of the critical upgrades coming in the immediate future.

Today, we want to share a bit more about our medium term goals - to show the problems we are working on, and the upgrades that will be necessary to solve them over the next 12-24 months.

Greater Choice

Nashpoint launched with a custom integration for deploying capital to Centrifuge, utilizing the ERC-7540 standard. Nashpoint also launched with the functionality to deploy capital to any standard ERC-4626 vault. By the end of 2025, we will have created at least one more integration to another leading tokenization protocol, and next year we will continue to scale these integrations.

The goal is to provide as many useful options as possible for users of the protocol. Nashpoint will partner with strategic RWA and DeFi protocols to build out the capabilities that are most beneficial to depositors and asset managers. When we have built out sufficient capabilities we will create a full-featured UI for deploying and managing funds onchain.

Note: This is already possible at the smart contract layer. Reach out to us today to deploy your custom fund.

Infinite Scale

Blockchains are an excellent tool for creating a shared set of rules, and for storing public data and value. However they are not ideal for complex computations. The trend toward offchain proving and verification demonstrates a better division of responsibilities between blockchains and traditional computing is emerging.

The limitations of blockchains are already apparent in the design choices in Nashpoint as it exists today. To overcome these limitations, we will upgrade the protocol to move as much complexity and calculations as possible offchain to ZKVM computing environments. This will unlock the ability to build sophisticated, high-complexity investment products that meet the needs of institutional partners.

Decentralized Competitive Execution

Today Nashpoint’s development team operate an offchain keeper bot that monitors deposit and withdrawal flows, and executes the strategy on the smart contracts by allocating to the underlying investments. This is an essential service that we will continue to operate, but we need to move towards a more decentralized model where multiple actors can participate in this process.

To serve as a truly neutral foundation upon which any team can build a financial product, Nashpoint cannot rely on any single point of failure. To address this, we will upgrade the protocol to introduce a competitive Solver & Intent model — enabling multiple actors to participate in executing strategy and rebalancing. At the same time, we’ll continue to operate and improve our own offchain keeper network as a reliable fallback during unexpected market conditions.

Unified Cross-Chain Liquidity

Nashpoint has partnered with Offchain Labs and the Arbitrum Foundation to enhance their DeFi and RWA ecosystem. We will make Nashpoint the core savings infrastucture of the entire Arbitrum Orbit ecosystem. We will also enable massively diversified products for Nashpoint users, who should not have to care about what chain their investment is operating on.

To achieve this we will work to integrate Arbitrum’s Universal Intent Engine. This will enable seamless access to our products across all Orbit chains, and allow investment of users funds across the entire Ethereum ecosystem.

Customizable Regulatory Compliance

Each asset manager on Nashpoint will require different authorization and verification controls in order to remain compliant in their specific jurisdiction. We will integrate with leading verification services to provide the offchain functionality required to meet standards for our partners globally. We will also build the tools to set customizable rules that control token transfers, whitelisting etc onchain. This will give asset managers the necessary controls to define how their products are safeguarded and distributed.

Our Mission

Nashpoint launched as a foundational layer to be improved and built upon. Our mission is to bring the world’s wealth on-chain and build safer, fairer financial products for everyone. To meet this challenge, much work must be done to increase the capabilities and utility of the protocol. At a minimum, we must:

  • Provide a diverse array of assets and integrations for managers to access
  • Remove limitations imposed by blockchains while preserving security benefits
  • Remove single points of failure and expose protocol execution to market forces
  • Unify liquidity across blockchains and abstract bridging away from users and managers
  • Provide the tools to verify users and secure funds specific to each manager and jurisdiction

The next 24 months will be focused on growing usage and expanding the protocol’s capabilities — making it more useful, more powerful, and more accessible to asset managers and users alike. Execution order will be based on what delivers the most utility to users, fastest. However all of these upgrades must take place in order to meet the minimum standard that we believe is necessary to achieve our mission.
